Not a fan of most film adaptations of novels but Norwegian Wood was a pleasant surprise (although for me the best Murakami adaptation still remains Tony Takitani). I had no idea beforehand Johnny Greenwood had done the soundtrack and the use of Can tracks in it was also a nice surprise. Got me thinking about the recent Radiohead 'The King of Limbs' LP too, apart from the obvious afro-beat & electronic influences, never realised at the time how important and obvious the Can influence still remains.
Ps. Would be curious to know what everyones personal favourite Can LP is?
