Heres 3 of my favourite jazz-dance classics all from the same excellent compilation. I thought it was a pretty rare comp but then I came across this so it can't be that hard to find. Absolutely timeless stuff.
Heres a superb jazz cover of Derrick Mays seminal 'Strings of Life'. A track I don't think that I will ever get sick of, no matter how many times it has been played/sampled/covered etc. There have been some dodgy versions, this one is quality though. Enjoy:
The track that caused Gilles Peterson & Paul Murphy to coin the infamous term 'Acid Jazz' back in 1989. Still can't believe how fresh this sounds, almost detroit techno-esque. Wicked tune.
